Longega International Artist House 2023

Longega Project offers a two-week residency in Longega (Val Badia, South Tyrol, Italy) for one artist or a couple/duo.

TIME PERIOD:

Two weeks in August (flexible arrival and departure).

WE OFFER:

  • Flat and studio
  • Opportunity to present a work in the showcase gallery of the Longega International Artist House (1000 Gallery) with art education and event.

WE EXPECT:

An application in German or English with the following information:

  • Short letter of motivation or project proposal (max. half a page)
  • Curriculum vitae and contact details
  • Structured photo material, samples of work
  • Possibly a link to your personal website

APPLICATION DEADLINE:

Closing date is the end of April.

DECISION-MAKING PROCESS:

A jury consisting of the Longega Project team and three alternating external experts will select the artist in residence. We will inform you by email at the end of May.

Artist in Residence

Horanggasy Creative Studio 2023

Longega Project offers a residency in Gwangju (South Korea) for an artist from South Tyrol for between three weeks and two months.
The stay in Korea is part of an exchange programme between South Tyrol and South Korea, in which in return one artist from South Korea is offered a stay at the Longega International Artist House.

PERIOD:

August to October (flexible, 3 weeks-2 months).

WE OFFER:

  • travel costs for a flight (economy class) Munich-Seoul-Munich
  • apartment

WE EXPECT:

An application in German or English with the following information:

  • Short letter of motivation or project proposal (max. half a page)
  • Curriculum vitae and contact details
  • Structured picture material, samples of work
  • Possibly a link to your personal website

APPLICATION DEADLINE:

Closing date is the end of January.
Applications are open to professional visual artists from South Tyrol.
